The police officer asked if I knew why he pulled me over ? I said because I DIDN'T stop at the stop sign LONG enough. He said right. But yet he comes back with the ticket and on the ticket he wrote FAILED to stop at stop sign. Anyway I can get it reduce ? How much will it cost me ? And does it go on the insurance ? I live in upstate NY

reduced to what? a traffic ticket is already a pretty minor charge. check with the court to see if you can do defensive driving to get the ticket dismissed.......at the very least you can get an insurance discount for doing the defensive driving. also, you can ask the court how much the ticket will cost so you have the money with you when you go to court.

Yes it goes on your insurance. No you won't get it reduced. It will cost you about $250 and 4 points from your license. You can go to driver's ed classes to help your insurance.
