Of course I would. Having only three fingers wouldn't have anything to do with it one way or the other. I don't really avoid shaking hands with anyone, but I really don't like to do it these days. If you can't imagine why, just pay closer attention in public restrooms for a while and see how many people go straight from the stall to the door without stopping to wash. When I shake hands now, I try to wash as quickly as possible -- and I use a paper towel to open the door on my way out.

I've shaken the hand of a man who had no fingers on the hand anymore. He always came in to where I used to work and made a point of signing checks with that hand and handing me cinnamons with it too, and I felt it disrespectful not to shake that one if he was offering it.

Went to the bar the other night, saw a woman I thought I recognized, her right arm was missing. It was that, that made me recognize her from a different club, from years back. I walked over to introduce myself, and inadvertently held out my hand to shake hers.....you should have seen the look she gave me!, I never felt sooooo
stupid, it was sooooo obvious it was missing!....I can never go back.

Why not?... I shook a guy's hand once that only had four fingers... and I asked him where he lost his finger and he told me a fascinating story.
