Is this accurate journalism by saying most of the US wants the president impeached when only 1000 was polled...from a group based in New Hampshire..?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070706/pl_afp/uspoliticsbush

I dont know...Has anyone ever actually been "polled"?
I have never met anyone that has ever been called by any of these "poll groups", and one needs to take into account that the 1000 was people not signed up on the "no call list", or had actually signed some kind of agreement with the company to be polled...I'm not sure that accurately represents the entire US.

note for angry democrats..please notice the question is asking about the accuracy of the polling numbers, and questioning the accuracy of the journalist..not your opinion on the war or how many things you can come up with to have Bush fake impeached..

New Hampshire is known as a state that favors Democrats so it is really stupid to take a poll in just one state that favors the other side. People are hypocrits if they think this President should be impeached yet others didnt deserve it. Shouldnt our last president have been impeached for breaking the law by committing the crime of perjury and well he pardoned many important congressmen etc etc...he also pardoned is druggy brother just a few short days before he left office. It is so hypocritical for people to be crying impeach.

I am for Bush. I thought a lot of people were against President Bush, but that is not so. I have seen people right here give thumbs down on a lot of negative things being said about the President. U see the best place to look for honesty in the polls is the Fox News Network. All the other station are owned by or part of the same anti-Bush Idiots.. No one has ever polled me.

This is just public opinion. Not something I would take seriously. If you do a poll and ask if they'll vote for Paris Hilton or Barack Obama for president they'll probably come up with Paris Hilton.

Yea I believe the poll numbers. I also believe most people prefer watching American Idol over watching presidential debate.

I bet you could ask some tricky questions to those same group of people and get them to contradict their earlier answers.

These people who answered in this poll probably go to gas station and see 3.50/gallon and yell 'impeach that Bush!' Is that serious comment? Or may be someone's just angry at gas price. Or other things on TV.

Impeaching Bush at this point is foolish. Impeachment cannot be done overnight. Remember Clintons last two years in office? Impeach Clinton, impeach Clinton...all for lying about cheating on his wife.

That was so distracting to the country, the media couldn't talk about anything else.

There is an election next year, Bush and the republicans will be history and America will find some other reason to call for impeachment of your next president.

No, I don't feel that was an accurate poll at all. They should visit each state, and have a set number of people they poll. Either have an even number from each party (that includes independent), or just choose randomly.

I don't think you had any reason to leave a note for angry democrats, you couldn't even tell what party you supported. ;)

Anyway, I would be interested in knowing the results of an accurate poll. I'd actually like to participate. That would be something.

I don't think that's right... Yes, Bush IS guilty of gross incompetence- that's becoming pretty obvious to most people. But stupidity is not (yet) an impeachable offense. And if his administration IS guilty of any "high crimes & misdemeanors"- NOBODY wants to see & hear about it 24/7 for the remaining 17 months Bush & Cheney are in Office!

On what grounds should we impeach Bush? Shouldn't we be charging Pelosi with treason for having gone to Syria to fraternize with the enemy? We never even prosecuted Ted Kennedy for his 1969 drunken vehicular homicide incident. Clinton got away with lying in front of the Grand Jury. You or I would be looking at five years.

Yes Bush made mistakes, but nothing to impeach him over.

Polls can be unreliable in many ways, and specifically this one looks pretty flawed to me, and I'm not any sort of Bush supporter.

I'd be far more willing to accept this as a feasable action had it not been for most of the US who voted this monkey slap in office for a 2nd term in the first place.
