The only kind of repellent that works well are the products that contain Deet like the deep woods off. However, you only want to use this in extreme situations. Deet is not good for you.

Try Burt's Bees. They use all natural ingredients, so it's good for you too. I haven't personally tried their bug repellent, but i used to sell it at my old job, and EVERY person that had bought it spoke wonders about it. They said it works better than anything they ever used. You should try the rest of their products too.

you must be a mosquito magnet! off in the green can usually works well for me, but before going out consider not wearing perfume or lotions or strong shampoos. those will attract bugs. also if you are on a deck or somewhere where candles can be used, use the ones that are made to keep bugs away.
