I have the gift of gab. I love to talk about things that interest me. I could talk for hours about just about anything. At my job we talk about a variety of things & I start leading the group & tend to be the last one talking as well. It just comes natural to me. At the same time I have a tendency to make people laugh . I have a good sense of humor & the gift of gab which can become endless because I seldom tire. I'm not fully in agreement with your first sentence. I believe that I have met a good many people who could not be said to be gifted in any sense whatsoever.
Indeed, I may be one of them. It may not be a talent, but I seem to be able quickly to achieve a grammatically wretched but fluent communicative competency in languages other than my own. I can read and speak very quickly, but because I never get fully on top of grammar (except in Japanese) I am afraid to write and only do it with one of these 500 Verb compilations at my elbow.
In all honesty, I suspect that there are few more pedestrian than I.

I used to say writing (back when I had time for it)
Then it was sign language interpreting (carpal tunnel ended that)
Now I'd say its being a mom. I taught preschool for 5 years and have an early childhood degree so I feel very prepared for childhood with my son and I think I do a good job at being a good mom. Just my thoughts tho!

Music: I sing tenor, alto and soprano, I've mastered the violin, clarinet, bass clarinet, and the piano. I also love to help other people, and I know alot of healt related subjects.

I've been told I'm good at writing, and I wouldn't mind trying to do that for a living when I grow up.
