A lot of remote starts have that relay built in and are specific for gear selection for park in automatics or neutral for manuals. Unless your car has a need to know what position the manual is in already (like a display that shows gear selection on the gauge cluster) there is almost no way to do this. The only thing you can do is bypass the clutch being in switch, but if you do, it'll still allow remote start if in gear

Do you very own a voltmeter? This appears like a wiring situation. the clicking noise which you hear is in all probability the starter solenoid pulling in. seems such as you have not got adequate battery amperage to the starter to make it turn over. verify the voltage on the battery. you should meter between 13 and 14.5 volts with the main off. Meter the voltage once you turn the main, if it drops under 10 volts then you definately've a battery situation. may be a broken cellular. verify the voltage on the starter's useful terminal. you are able to try between the terminal (in many cases useful) and the physique (in many cases destructive). If the battery is powerful and you do not see 12 volts on the starter then you definately've a wiring situation. available reason is the battery floor cable isn't tightly related to the physique or the battery submit. Did you clean the cable ends once you replaced the battery? verify the top of the destructive cable related to the physique of the motor vehicle. Is it loose or corroded? in case you do not come across a situation with the destructive cable, verify the useful cable. in the previous putting your wrench on any of the postive terminals, disconnect the destructive cable from the battery (for secure practices). If the battery is expounded to the physique and you touch your wrench between the useful terminal and the physique, the battery could desire to explode. VERY undesirable.

Only a few cars with manual have neutral switch. Or in gear switch. You must of had a bad experence seeing your car race across the street crash right thru your neighbors house!!
Uncontroled starting or remote start on a manual is serious enough manufacture installs a clutch switch on all manual cars these days. THERE'S YOUR SIGN!

One way it could be done is to install brackets and switches at each gear position on the outside of the tranny. This would require 5 switches for a 4 speed tranny and would only work on external shift trannys. Trannys like the T5 or the 5LM60 which are internally shifted, would require 4 switches mounted in a "square" pattern around the neutral shift lever position.
Another way would be a positive lock-in-neutral device, such as a bracket with a switch, that has to be pressed by the shift lever to allow starting.

no there is nothing that you can buy for it, that's why they don't install these on manual cars, because they will start in gear, its not safe to have them on a manual car, i installed one once, then removed it, the customer didn't like it,because it would try and start in gear, but they don't make what you want for it,good luck with it.
