That is a very good question. I don't believe I will be alive when and if the world ends. I'm not sure if it will end but will eventually not be the same as we know it today.

I don't think the world will end, when Jesus comes back to Earth he will take the believers and start a new improved world...but that's my opinion.

In approximately 5 billion years the Sun will expand to a red giant, engulfing the Earth and effectively end it. Our species if it hasn't expanded out elsewhere in the galaxy by then, will more than likely have found a way to wipe itself out.
