You won't like my answer if you are a female (and maybe not if you're a male) it's applicable either way, no matter who has custody.
You don't have the right to have "your child support changed".
(In my world anyway)
First of all, it ain't YOUR child support. It's supposed to be for the kid(s).
Second, if the kids need more money, you need to get a second job because, unlike the child support, them kids IS yours.
And last -- hold up -- I'd better not write the last, cause I would fo' sho' be violating some Community Guidelines up in here!

file a Modification of Child Support with either your family court or your child support services court. bring a copy of your pay check stubs for the last two months and a really REALLY good reason why you changed jobs (preferrably something in writing from a supervisor) and why you chose to move to a job that makes less money. because the judge is not going ot be happy you did this. it only looks as if you took a lesser paying job just to pay less support.

ever person can have a child support order modified but if the judge feels that you have dropped in wages JUST to get the amount reduced [assuming you are the one paying ] then you might be in for a shock. IF you are the care giver parent and you took a job cut / wage cut then you can also ask for it to be upped, but it is calculated on who brings in what etc etc.

Apply for modification of child support.
Good luck though, a friend of mine went through this once.
The judge told him that he would not reduce it, that he has proven his ability to earn that income and to get a second or third job if necessary.
They can put a wage assignment on you & take up to 65% of your paycheck. At least this is true in the state that I live in.

If you left the job on your own, I hope you get no help from the court. If not, apply for a change. Keep the kid(s) in mind, it's not just your ex

are you making 100 dollars less? If so you can go through the attorney general and they will send you the paper work, but you can only do it every 3 years
