Yes, my brother Peter and I used to build igloos every winter. It was really fun too. The neighbor kids would all build one and we would have snow ball fights back and forth. Spray them down with water every night so that they would last long. I wish I could explain how fun it was. Then we would also play tackle football in the snow. It was great because you could never get hurt. The snow was so soft and all. Man I really miss those winters as a kid. They were some really fun times. With the fires in the fireplace and some hot cocoa. Watching Christmas movies with the family. Snuggling up in the blankets at night.

I did in fact, build an igloo years ago when I lived up north. I learned one very important lesson. NEVER fart in an igloo....

Yeah ~ we had a big blizzard this winter. We all tunneled through the drifts and made igloos. (kind of )

confident yet some years in the past. start up with making vast chunks of ice and build the backside and artwork upwards leaving an area for the front. ideally you end with the important piece on the real which ought to drop into place to end the roof.

Never, but I recall trying when I was a kid. Problem was, the snow stuck to my mittens, melted and made then cold, wet and heavy.. I didn't really like that :P

I've tried, but in Vancouver we don't really get enough snow to complete one.
