My rabbit is less than one year old so I'm trying to get him to start eating fruits and veggies, but he won't eat them. I've been trying for a week now. Actually the only thing besides pellets that he will eat is apples. Any Ideas on what I should do to get him to eat other things?
Thanks!

And my rabbit does have some tooth problems, I have to get a couple of them extracted tomorrow because they grow too fast. Best answers, probally Blue Giant and KimbeeJ, but he doesn't really like hay either lol, I'm just assuming he's picky?

Not all rabbits like all fruits and veges. They all have their own tastes. Introduce different veges slowly, see what he likes and what he doesn't. Same with the fruits. And don't overdo it. Too much fresh fruits and vege's can cause diarrhea, especially if he's not used to it. Try fresh greens like carrot tops or radish greens. A little at a time. After introducing something new, wait a couple days to make sure he doesn't have any reactions to it. Then you can try another new food item.
You may have overwhelmed him with all the new stuff. Give him time to adjust to new tastes. And don't forget to give him all the timothy/grass hay he wants.

He really doesn't need fruits and vegies. His main diet should be a good grass hay, like timothy hay. NOT alfalafa--it is too high in protein. Only a little scoop of pellets a day. Some dark leafy greens are Ok in small amounts. Without free choice hay, rabbits frequently develop intestinal problems and hairball impactions.

It isn't good for a rabbit to eat alot of veggies and fruit esp. lettuce. It can make it sick and can die.

Your rabbit might not like them
