Fish food is cheap.
Based on my experiance, the fish will survive for a while without food (if it's resigned to living: if not, no amount of care will keep it alive).
Go buy some fish food.

Freshwater fish can usually go for weeks without food, so chill and save your money for quality fish food, not bread or whatever.

I have several tanks of goldfish now and feed a good commercial food, but when I was a kid and had a couple of goldfish I used to crush up purina dog kibble and feed them that!!! I had fish that lived for years and years on only dog food! So, if you have a dog....
