Yes, of course. It is by far the most accurate way to determine a pregnancy. Most doctors like to do one to verify a positive urine test.
They are also capable of detecting pregnancy much earlier than the urine tests can.
I hope this is helpful to you.

I took an HPT 2 days after experiencing implantation bleeding and the try had an particularly faint 2d line. i assumed my eyes have been playing tricks on me. I went to my physician and had a blood try performed (approximately 8 DPO) and it got here returned "inconclusive". My Hcg point became 25, and in accordance to my physician, it must be 26 to be useful. I waited yet another 5 days and then my blood try became actually useful. I had a healthful being pregnant and an lively 3 365 days previous boy now. whilst my physician did the blood tests, I had the outcomes interior of 24 hours. wish this enables!

yes blood tests are the most accurate. but if you are hiding something. don't worry. doctor/patient confidentiality. but i would tell whoever you're hiding it from soon. it will take some stress off you, and they're going to find out eventually anyway.
