From being married young, I say this. If they agree on the future, their children if they want them later on and how they will raise them, they can live together comfortably, it doesn't matter how old they are. :)

24 is too young to get married, let alone 18. This 18 year old will regret it within two years and the 24 year old will be kicking themselves for being so naive. Get out and live a little, getting married is one thing but being and staying married is a whole different story. Younger people have no idea what kind of sacrifices need to be made to make a marriage work. It is a huge step in life and a responsibility that should not be taken lightly.

At eighteen it's FAR too young to get married. The 18 yr. old will resent it about five years later. Think of it this way, a 24 yr. old has had 1/3 more lifetime to get themselves together than an 18 yr. old has. I don't see it working.

I met my now husband of seven years when I was 17, he asked me date him when I was 18 and he was 24. I see no problem with it, as long as you're positive it's what you want, and the same goes for the partner. I also agree with the living alone for a year. I never did that, and looking back on it there's so much I wish I'd done before I got married. We got engaged when I was 18 and married when I was 20. Moved in together at 18 as well. Live a little first, enjoy being young, it only happens once!

Not until the 18 yr old has lived BY HERSELF for a year and supported herslef by working and paying her own way. This will teach her responsibility and budgeting skills needed for marriage, also how to live within her means. The 18 yr old also needs to date the 24 yr old for a yr or 2 with NO sex so they can see the person at their best and worst.

i don't thnk it's a good idea for an 18 yr old to marry at all. 6 yr difference is nothing but, wait til you're about 25 and he's 31.

It's not good for an 18 year old to marry anyone. No matter what age he is. Go to college, work for a little while and have fun. Then, settle down when you're older.

18 seems like a pretty young age to get married at. There's so much out there to do still. Why the rush?

If the 18 year old and the 24 year old are in love, then it's perfectly fine. ALSO make sure they're nice to each other.. and that they trust each other.

18 is to young to get married. Just think of all the things you could be doing, hanging out with friends, partying.
Youth is squandered on the young, means: Stop trying to be older or more mature and act your age.
