That sounds like a dangerous and ineffective way to try and lose weight. Your body will go into 'starvation' mode so making it harder to lose weight. Successful weight loss involves eating a healthy balanced diet and doing some exercise. Try having fruit and cereal for breakfast, nuts or fruit mid-morning, a balanced lunch ie salmon and salad/ jacket potato, mid-afternoon snack of fruit/veg, then a balanced evening meal. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and cut down on caffeine. The exercise can be anything from walking, running, swimming to going to the gym - take your pick.

I think cereal is good no matter what time of the day it is, but I eat it in the afternoon more than in the morning.

I can't eat cereal any other time except in the morning. It throws off my entire existence if I do.

I do. Why? Cuz it's fast. Everyone is in a hurry in the morning. Now, if you like the taste, you should have it at night as well :)
