Whistling, my whole family, except my mom,
we all whistle constantly. We can all be in the same room, whistling different toons, and we won't notice that we all sound bad together.
When we're bored, or walking down the hallway, we whistle.

McMahon's Family Tradition


It has become customary to keep favorite Family Recipes in a special container called "The Recipe Box". All of the secret ingredients that go into The Family's favorite meals are written on 3x5 inch or 4x6 inch Recipe Cards. The Recipe Box is a Family Heirloom and its contents are priceless. This box is then given to the Newlywed couples in our family, and it is an hierloom that is passed down from generation to generation. Thus far, our family recipe box goes back to the old country of Ireland circa 1762. Of course the recipes have been rewritten, but the old ones are bound and are keep sakes forever.

I come from a Danish family and it is tradition for each one of us to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve.
Also with the family I married in to it is tradition to spend Thanksgiving at the cabin. It is roughing it, but what memories we have. We still manage to have a turkey and all the fixins
