The Yankees have won the AL east 10 years in a row, they may not have won the series in 6 years but they have had more success than any other team the last 10 years by far. Doesn't look good for winning the AL east this year, in fact they might not make the playoffs but they have some serious young pitchers in the farm and once they can get rid of some dead weight look for and get those young pitchers ready, get ready for another dynasty.
Griffy however, is not the answer. No need for another over the hill superstar, that's just what they don't need. He might help this year but in the long term losing the prospects that getting him would require would hurt more than help.

Going to the Yankees doesn't garauntee you a ring (or another one). Just ask:

Mike Mussina
Jason Giambi
Arod
Bobby Abreu

And any other player that has in one way or another left another organization to be with the Yankees.

Not to mention that the Yankees have played very poorly compared to the reputation over the last several years. And considering that Griffey doesn't pitch, I'd doubt he'd be able to help the Yankees since hitters aren't what they need.

Teams win rings. The Yankees are a collection of talent. They aren't a team, and Griffey going there wouldn't change that.

No.
1) With Jeter and A-Rod, plus all the great pitchers and players they've aquired from other teams (Clemens, Damon), you'd think they would have a winning team. And yet, they haven't won anything in years.
2) Where would he fit in the line-up? What about out on the field?
3) What has aquiring great talent from other teams done for the Yankees? Damon went down the drain the second he was traded. What good will it do them to have the best of the best together in one team? Sometimes, you need no-names to balance out a really good team. Look at the Cardinals. Besides Albert Pujols, Chris Carpenter, and possibly Jim Edmonds and Scott Rolen, who did they have that anyone knew when they won the series?

When Ken Griffey Jr. came to Cincinnati he said he had no desire to ever play with the Yankees! I don't believe he will be traded anywhere!

The yankees is the final team that Griffey might play for. As a toddler the administrative on the time Billy Martin wanted his dad to make him and his brother depart for horse enjoying. And on ideas-blowing of that the yankees criticized him for wearing his hat backwards and having his shirt untucked interior the early ninety's. On ideas-blowing of that, no longer many communities Griffey would be of help, so i do no longer see him going there.

No, I don't think that's the answer for Griffey. There are a number of teams that will get Griffey a ring faster than the Yankees.
Boston, Cleveland, Minnesota, Detroit, Oakland, Anaheim, San Diego, Milwaukee, Atlanta and the Mets.

That's hard to say. The Yankees have already gotten a ton of great batters, but still haven't been doing incredible. What they need is pitching. Give them Griffey Jr. and Jake Peavy, I'd give them the World Series and 100 wins.

The Yankees aren't going to win this year, so I don't see how that would help Griffey.
