That someone is the epitome of rising above and becoming the most loving, patient and kindest human being that anyone could ever know--or hope to be.

(Extreme physical abuse and horrific emotional torture in childhood resulted in multiple personalities, but prior to extensive therapy which came much later in life, had no knowledge of being MPD. Initial therapy--or the surfacing knowledge--produced suicide attempts and other self-destructive behaviors as they started to become aware of "who" they were. The person stuck with it...toughed it out...got through...and "they" became integrated, and happily so. "They" relish life in a manner that we all should, every day. It may sound odd, but I am sometimes envious of their outlook on life and how they deal with life every day...it is SO positive. What a testimony to the human spirit!!)

Well, I don't remember one that I said to someone else, but there are a few that I have received:
One was that a movie that I wrote, made a guy cry
Another was that I had a pretty name
Another (but I'm not sure if it was meant as a joke) was: "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"
And another was that I was wonderful

One thing that I wish I HAD said to my previous therapist is that she helped me NOT attempt suicide.

Otherwise... I tell my boyfriend all the time that he is the reason I get up in the morning.
