This is another form of Sado-masochism in which inflicting pain to ones sex partner is more of a turn on for them. In many cases it is also appreciated by the party being hit, choked (to within moments of passing out), slapped, cut, etc. This could get dangerous fast for you. If you do not approve of such behavior, then tell this guy immediately. Not when your in bed, but now. If he thinks otherwise or refuses to stop, get away from him as with time it will turn more and more aggressive.

I was in a relationship many years ago that involved that sort of thing. She wanted to be hit and abused. I had a hard time getting into that and she moved on.
I was young and didn't quite understand why she was like that. I do now.

I sometimes slap my wife's bare bottom, but never really hard. (More like a pat.) If you are getting whacked hard enough you are asking questions about it, it must be more than just a "love pat." This guy just might have some serious mental health issues. If you've asked him to never do that again but he does anyway, you need to..........RUN!!!!!! It ain't going to get better as time goes on. Trust me on this one.

I need more specifics. What type of hitting? Like a "spanking" thing, or try to hit to hurt you like punching or something?
Bottom line...hitting is NEVER OK...even if it was like a love pat on the @ss, he should of asked first to make sure you were cool with it.

Some people are more sexually excited when they hit or strangle their partner and vice versa. Some people are into pain. Either way things like this should always be mutual. Tell him if it makes you uncomfortable.

Sex is supposed to be an act of making love.
Hitting is an act of aggression, anger, perhaps.
Never should the two go together, unless by some kinky fetish, agreed to by BOTH partners

I would say anger issues. I would be very concerned if I were you. Find help from a doctor or counselor or whomever. Hitting you is never okay. Ever.
