for heavy tarnish, If you can fit it in the sink, fill the sink half full of water, then pour a half bottle of white viniger in. add silver stuff. Let it sit for 30 min to an hour, and then use a non abrasive polish such as neverdull or luster pad. Make sure you hand wash the silver afterward and dry imediatly after washing to get rid of neverdull/luster pad residue.

If it's just light tarnish, then skip the sink part.

If it is real silver use Tarnex. You can get it in just about any grocery store, Walmart or Target, where they sell other cleaning supplies. All you do is use a cotton ball and dip it in the Tarnex and wipe. It doesn't smell good at all, but is extremely easy to use.
