I start High School next year and I am already scared. People who are racist have nothing else better to do because everyone should be treated equally. I think the best thing to do is to forget those people. Go back to High school and have a great time. Dont let people bring you down. If you want to have a great education and you want to finish school then focus on your studies. Because on Senior year, you will be the one graduating not them!

When I was in school, some people called me a racist. Let me start by letting you know that I am caucasion. There was a girl that I really liked very much. I wanted her to be my friend very much. She was an African American with very dark skin color. Several times, I would sit next to her after school. I even tried to kiss her a few times, but never got a real chance. You would need to know the strict rules of the school I went to in order to understand this. I refer to it not as a school, but more like a prison camp. I even had a few male friends who were African American. I would say that I had more African American friends at that 'prison camp' than I had caucasion friends. If that is what is described as a racist, then I freely admit that, but I don't think I am. I would look at a person and consider what they have inside and not what is on the outside, looking at them as a blind person would 'see' them. Everybody has a head, body, at the most two arms and two legs, and they all have nothing different except for sexual make-up. A blind person does not see the color of skin a person has and that is how I view people. If they don't like what I have to say or believe, they can do as they wish, but don't try to mold me in their fashion.

High school is cruel, so is life after school. Unfortunately, that's the way it is. Maybe someday it will change.

I kinda had a problem with that too in college (country state, small town). Especially when no one is around, or you;re the only black in the crowd things get said that shouldn't get said. Dont let them run you off. Stay at the school... what they gonna do about us? we are all over the place.J ust let them hate. Thats too bad for them... its a shame they act that way.

Racism can occur anywhere, honey. If you are personally affected, you should tell your school counselor and also your parents. If you are not personally affected, there is not much you can do

You gotta get some courage and stand up for yourself. Have someone teach you how to defend yourself. You have to go to school. Don't let stupid people scare you, then it show that they have one! Show that you are better than them!
