first thing that comes to mind is YES...... But what about you? Think of the response ability you would have after he's gone. And what about your future? You would be a single mother and if you meet someone else that you also love very much. The consequences of you having a child......... But your decision and you must be very sure before you commit yourself in this very difficult situation.

Think about your situation after he dies. Can you support the child after he is gone? And there is the great possibility that after a year, you will fall in love again and bring somebody else's kid into your marriage. Are you sure your new man will treat your kid right?
There will be so many questions that will remain unanswered if you agree to have a child with your dying boy friend. I suggest that you stay by his side and continue loving him until his last day, but try not to drag an innocent baby into this relationship.

Thats fine if you can deal with being a single mother. Get married first and make sure his life insurance is made out to you so you will have living expenses.
Having a child is a nice sentiment but there are lots of potential problems and they will all be yours, he wont be there.

it depends on how old you are, and your financial situation. i would suggest you get a specimen sample from him, and when the time is right for you, that you get artificially inseminated. he could make a video diary for the child, and a will for you and the child also. i hope this helps, good luck.

What type of heart problems?
What type of rib problems? I've never heard of someone with rib problems unless it was broken ribs.
