i know i hear people say it all the time but if a guy raped a guy that would be homosexual and usually homosexuals are not fighters so it doesn't make sense because wouldn't the homosexuals get their @ss' kicked?

Yup, it really happens ... it's not because they're homosexual, it's because they have so much built up sexual energy -- feminine looking guys are most at risk

Your assumption that homosexuals would get their @sses kicked in prison is completely wrong. Besides, the guys doing the raping and being raped in prison are generally all straight. They're horny violent guys.
