It took me a bit to get into, but once I did it was wonderful and usually I wont say that about assigned reading. I recently reread it 16 yrs later for my own pleasure

It's tedious reading, but some people are into that. I enjoyed it even though I found it a bit redundant. And it's what I consider a classic, and I always recommend reading those.

I enjoyed it. My daughter hated Guinevere though.
