So I'm 37 wks pregnant and I'm 3 cm dilated, 75% effaced and the doctor said that my water bulging. I get contractions off and on and I lost my mucous plug today. I also keep feeling sick to my stomach, almost like I want to puke! What I want to know is if these are contractions or if I'm just not feeling good. And when do you think that I will go into labor?

I would say labour would be very close, considering you waters are bulging and your other sypmtoms, if your waters break they say the baby will be born within 12 hours. Some women do feel like they need to vomit through the entire labour, hopefully not for you though, good luck, take it easy.

Sounds like you are in pre labor. I;m sure you will start to have regular contractions within the next few days or sooner. Good luck!

If you haven't already gone to the hospital to have your baby, be waiting for some contractions real soon. Also watch for your water to break. It appears as though this baby will make an early entry into the world!

Yep its sounds like your close, i hear you body likes to clear itself out both ends before labour so it can concentrate on its main job - giving birth. As soon as the contractions become regular and strong you know you've started. I'd guess 1-3 days max. Good luck xxx

You may be having early contractions that you cant feel yet. Either way that is really likely to be early labor signs for ya.

it could be nerves or a full feeling from the babe that's making you feel sick or you could actually be coming down with something. i've never heard of anyone feeling ill when they have a contraction. is it coming in intervals?
