Someone told me today that a man is sending money over sea investing in something .The man has sent thousands of dollar over with the promise of him getting 2 million dollars back. They said he must sent the money by wire every two or three days and they keep him going by telling him that the money is on it way. The lady that told me said that she seen him sending it . Has anyone heard anything on this?

When I say money I mean money like three hundred and five thousand dollars worth. Also the people have a poa who is senting the money. I suggested that freind call 1-800- elderly abuse . She alo told me that someone has already called and they said that they would look into it but will take a few weeks because of so many calls.

this sounds like a nigerian 419 scam. it's called that because it's based on a section of nigerian law which is lax on prosecuting scam artists who prey on foreign nationals. call the fbi!! give them the details. the bad news is that his money is gone, and there doesn't seem to be any recourse. best of luck.

IT'S A SCAM. Someone who cares about this person needs to tell them. If they really believe it's true, have them have a lawyer look at the paperwork. They may be able to have it done as a 'free consultation'.

FYI - he's out the money. He will never be able to get the money back.... Good Luck

You just described about half the scams these days. Don't bother trying to identify any scam. Just know it is a scam and avoid it.

I recently got the "I am filthy rich Arab...but my millions are a little busy right now. Send me your money and you'll get rich, too!" email.

WEEEEEE yeah. I don't think so.
