What's so lucky about it, & what's the significance about people getting married on that day?

the number 7 throughout history has been seen as the luckiest number. Seven ancient wonders, Seven Hills of Rome,Seven Virtues, 7 islands of Atlantis, seven continents. Many people are getting married on that day because it is to be a lucky number for marriage because it signals the joint of a man and woman( man is 3 and woman is 4).it is also the luckiest number in Japanese culture. Tommorrow is going everyone's lucky day. enjoy it. it wont come again until 3007..

It is just a thing because of all the 7s. There was sort of a fuss made in 1999 when it was 9-9-99, but I don't remember anyone getting married then though.

well one reason could be we have to wait 100 years to have another 07-07-07 ... same as last year 06-06-06 ...

People are superstitous and think it's significant. Just another day to me. Although 06/06/06 would have been a good day to have a baby and name it Damien.
