My dads passing 14yrs ago I will never get over it,my hubby's passing 5yrs ago I have accepted his passing but not how it happened,I also have to help the kids to cope with it which is sad,as they where young and their dad has missed so much of them growing up,I know he is around in spirit which helps them a bit,but from all this I tell them when they think of him and things they did together that its a happy memory, and to be happy and thaknful that they where able to do those things, and no one can take those moments away from them,so from sorrow comes joyous memories...........

You seem to have missed part of the question off.

So I will have to guess that you are talking about some sort of recognition that true sorrow can lead to joy?

Or that you can't have joy without first understanding sorrow?

I don't have sorrow about anything, I wish I had done some things different but there is no point in being sorrowful, what's done is done. You just have to learn from it and try not to make the same mistake again.

Sorrow is joy turned inside out.

Sadness is thinking about a loss.

Memories of Happy days is what determines the experience of joy.
