I'm wanting to find cheap ways to increase the horsepower in my '96 Chrysler Concorde.

you get power the same way all engines get more power, you improve airflow through the engine. an engine is basically an air pump, the more efficient you make the intake and exhaust systems the more power you can make. bigger throttle body, headers, dual exhaust, more fuel pressure, larger injectors, add a blower, add nitrous, add a lower drive gear, remove weight from the car.

And scatter bits of your 3.7 liter V-6 all over the Highway. More power costs money add nitrious and get 50 hp right away. Doing the more power thing to a 12 year old motor can make you buy a new car sooner than you will want to. Cheep should never be used in the sentence as more power.
