Today I started sending emails to each and every senator and representative about that very problem. Yes, I saw Sicko and it was incredible that we Americans have not one senator or representative - not even Hillary that believes in universal health care in America! Please email me and help me start a huge outcry!

Two big reasons why I am against Universal Health Care:

1) The government spends money irresponsibly and is very inefficient. Plus do you really want a Washington beurocrat making decisions about your health care?

2) The federal government has no authorization under the US Constitution to set up Universal Health Care. It is unconstitutional.

The Tenth Amendment states:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Nowhere in the Constitution can you find justification for the federal government setting up universal health care. It is unconstitutional.

We need to return to smaller, less intrusive government intead of Big Brother, and lower taxes, not more taxation.

I'm all in favor of universal health care, if you don't tax me to pay for it. I also want the ability to purchase the best care money can buy, not watered down care for the masses. It's my money, I worked for it.

Canada, Private Medicine Spreads
By Clifford Krauss

The Cambie Surgery Center, the most prominent private Canadian hospital, may be considered a rogue enterprise.

Accepting money from patients for operations they would otherwise receive free of charge in a public hospital is technically prohibited in this country, even in cases where patients would wait months or even years in discomfort before receiving treatment. ....

IT IS NOT FREE. Ask anyone in a country with 'free' health-care what their tax rate is. If the government could make anything free, your taxes would be ZERO.

Free health-care is a great idea-in theory-. The U.S.A. is a capitalist nation where the idea is for everybody to get as rich as they can and trample others if necessary. I know that sounds harsh, but, considering the other option (communism) it's not that bad. In my opinion Michael Moore is an idiot and a traitor.

Universal health care is one of the worst things that could ever happen to this country ! That would be one step closer to being a socialist country. I don't want someone else making my medical decissions for me ! I have terrible insurance with extremely high co-pays, but I would rather pay for it than have Universal Health care.

If I have to choose between the greed of the private sector, and the greed, incompetence, and corruptness of the government, I'll take the former.

Because I do NOT want to pay for your health care, and I do not ask that you pay for mine.
