The solution is a line that passes thru the origin (0,0) and has a slope of +9.

Any point on that line is a correct answer. The entire line is the set of all correct answers.

There are multiple solutions to that equation. Do you have a graphing calculator (TI 84)? If so, plug in Y=9X into the [Y=] button at the top left corner. Then press graph. You will see how the equation looks graphed. Press 2nd Graph. That table shows you all of the possible solutions that can make the equation true.

Multiple answers for this question. Easiest way without calculators, etc. is substitute any number for x, which will then give you y

ex. x=1, then y=9; x=3 then y=27, etc. negatives and fractions are okay as well.

if you solve for x it would be y/9=x
