I believe in change, most religions don't count this physical body in their constitution, and the astral body is rarely counted because both are learning tools, so no. We don't die we evolve.

Legal death is defined as cardiac arrest (when the heart stops). I believe that this is death because you have to define it somehow, and I'm an atheist. I don't believe it's a higher state, how can it be, you're dead! Obviously if you are religious and believe in an afterlife you would think otherwise. I sometimes want to think that way because it's comforting, but all evidence states otherwise.

Yes death is real. U see it everywhere among humans, animals, plants etc etc. All that is living is goin to perish one day. When ur time expires thats it, u'll be given a one way ticket and adious to all. But then wheather its a higher or lower state of living, i personally believe its upto ur karma and ur deed while living. So why worry bout it. It doesn't matter if anyone believe in it or not, it will come ultimately to all of us.

I think history has proved that death is inevitable.
A higher state of living? It that is to mean a heaven, then yes I do believe there is "something" after we leave this earth.

Death may be a transition but it is still by definition a biological process. So yes I do believe in Death.

Uhm, death is when your BODY ceases living. So believe in it?? i think enough people have died to convince me that it is real. If we go to a higher state of living, great, but that is a completely different issue. Death is physical, not spiritual.

As everyone else said, I'm not sure what you meant to ask, but I'll try an answer. Being an atheist, I really don't think there's something after you die. You're dead, your brain and the rest of your body stop working, so how could you still be conscious of what's happening? I respect other people's beliefs, but to me, it doesn't make sense. I guess it's nice to hope something better will come and that justice will be made one day, but I personally don't believe it happens. Not being religious, it just seems impossible for me.

Do you mean life after death like heaven or purgatory?? I only ask because whether you believe in death or not, death believes in you. As for the afterlife I figure who cares because once you die you are dead. After you are dead you're as good as fertilizer, right? You can't do anything and certainly have no bills or an address that would require being alive to maintain.

Yes. The notion of a higher state of living is not supported by evidence of any sort, and there is no reason to believe in it -- or even consider it.

Death -- while none of us can escape it -- is not the end. When a person dies, her body no longer contains her soul, but her soul continues to live on while still being intrisically attached to her body. Depending on how she lived her life, that person will either experience great goodness or great suffering in the after life.

I believe in it as it is a physical reality that none of us can deny, however, I further believe it is a transitional state to ascend to a higher realm.
