They are one of the most successful and boring bands in history. Please do not play me some "mountain music!"

I loved Alabama when I was a kid. Now that I've grown older and heard their songs a million times, I find them boring. I heard one of their songs on the radio today and it did bring back some good memories. However, I believe that some things are better left in the past. Like Alabama! :-)

I used to like them back in the 80s.
But after that, they became annoying.

I'm not from Alabama, I've never been to Alabama but I like their music! I don't think they are annoying, maybe just a bit too catchy for their own good though! The other day I was humming "mountain music" and I haven't heard the song in months...lol

There isn't a better band in country music, nor will there ever be. I grew up on their music and even though I listen to a wide variety of types of music and artists, I always find myself gravitating back to their music. There's nothing like it. So boring and annoying? No way. Quite the opposite.

I enjoy them. You don't get to be the "Artists of a Decade" by being a boring band. I'm more annoyed and bored by Paris Hilton. I'd much rather see or hear Alabama any day then a rich spoiled $lut. 2D

Sometimes "Three Chord Country" is nice to listen to (Keith Anderson did a song about that...), and Alabama plays it perfectly. I like a lot of their stuff. "High Cotton", "Tennessee River", "Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler)", "Dixieland Delight", "If You're Gonna Play in Texas", etc.

I personally love them !! I love most all country music. Its music in which one can actually hear and understand all the words...and no one is calling anyone names, or being rude and obnoxious. They make a lot of $$ and recieve a lot of well deserved awards at the ACM Award shows.....
They are great !! They are not the only fav. I have. but they are good.

Being from Alabama myself, I can relate very much to their music. I have met the lead singer a couple times and find him unfriendly, however.
