One of mine is to see a trash can full of trash! it drives me nuts!!

spitting, trash laying outside of an empty trash can, people who whine.....LOL...the list goes on! (bet I know one person whose pet peeve is me)

Yes,i have a pet peeve.
Its reading some of these questions on a philosophy site.
Some of us have been taught a critical approach to
philosophy(i mean the real type where for example the
critical philosopher Sir karl Popper revealed the insincere
and petty work of the modern sage Wittgenstein).It must
be obvious that some of these generalized and personalized
questions here are even a damned insult to any Non-critical
(so called)philosophers;If this is even remotely what a so-
called philosophical discussion "looks like", then it could
be argued that this could directly reflect the silliness that
has plagued the subject for many years.Of course,that
wouldn't even include those fast-and-clever teachers who
spin and weave their (usually pathetic) arguments to
bamboozle and bewitch their listeners(!).
And the above is more a major "peeve"for me,rather than
a simple "pet" one.

haha. that's a really funny thing to get peeved at... aren't they meant to be full of trash? it's better than trash littering the ground. people are doing a good thing in putting in the right place. unless your peeved cos noone's emptied the bin?
my pet peeve... coffee shops who don't know how to make coffee!! you wouldn't sell a burnt pancake. why do they serve coffee when either the milk or the coffee itself is burnt?! i know i'm a coffee snob, but once you get used to actual good coffee there's NO going back.

I hear ya on the trash. My bf NEVER takes the trash out. It drives me nuts.

Mine is pretty close....I go insane when people pile trash on the kitchen counter...6 inches away from the actual trash can.. It piles up and falls in the floor....DOES ANYONE SEE THE DAMN TRASH CAN!!!
Really!! I don't know why I bother!

phone cords(at work)that are so wound up you can hardly answer the phone!! I have cordless phones at home...Maybe this is more of an OCD thing rather than a pet peeve !!!LOL!!

I have quite a few....here's 3
1) rude people
2) foul language without stubbing your toe
3) not using signals when driving

to see a full sink of dirty dishes that are just left there to be piled up! it drives me insane!

Mine is stains in sum1 else's car!!!! And u have to sit on them!!!!!!
