He is an attorney and was Cheney's chief of staff following Cheney's and Bush's orders. He outed a CIA agent because her husband presented proof that Bush was lying about Iran and the WMD. That pissed Bush and Cheney off and he wanted to discredit Plame's husband and his facts. So, they claimed his evidence was wrong and falsely claimed that his wife had sent him on his mission, and had Libby out her.

Libby lied about being the one who had outed Plame. That is perjury. He was not pardoned. His sentence was commuted. It was commuted because he was acting under direct orders from Bush and Cheney and did not rat them out, he took the fall for them. Bush will pardon him in 1 1/2 years.

First of all, Scooter Libby was not pardoned, his sentence was reduced.

Scooter Libby did not reveal Valerie Plame's identity, Richard Armitage did that.

The fact that Richard Armitage was not prosecuted indicates that this was a purely political prosecution, like that of the Duke Lacrosse Players.

The prosecutor in the Duke case was disbarred.

The prosecutor of Scooter Libby should also be disbarred for the same reason as the prosecutor of the Duke Lacrosse players was disbarred.

End of subject. End of story.
