Hannah, if you are talking about air temperature, I have experienced as low as -45 degrees F and as high as 116 degrees F. In fact, in a twelve hour period while driving through South Dakota in the afternoon into Wyoming and up the Bighorn Mountains that evening, I experienced a temperature change from 116 degrees in Chamberlain at about 3 PM to 35 degrees at Powder River Pass at about 1 AM. That was pretty wild.

I will agree with a previous answerer. I would take the -45 degrees anytime over 116 degrees.

I assume you are talking about body temperature! When I was a child I went through a period of a couple of days where I had a variety of unusual sensations due to a high fever, 106'5 degrees F. At times I felt as though I was wrapped in a very soft material, such as Cotton wool, other times it felt like I was being pricked by millions of pins. On another occasion, I was ice fishing, and I became so cold the I could feel the frost in my bones.

I've lived in different places and have experienced 127°F and 52 below zero (both natural).
If I had to choose between the two, I would choose 52 below zero. Dress warmly enough and you can be comfortable. It's impossible to be comfortable at 127.
