that one answer was sort of rude

anyhow i think you can buy good eye makeup at a drugstore and most lip makeup there is good.

i think your foundation, concealer, blush, and finshing powder is what you should spend the most money on and you should have two shades of each one for without a tan and one for with....bronzer i usually spend some money on two.

have you considered sheer cover or bare essencentuals-ive tried both and think both work fairly the same and have super sensitive skin and i love that i don't break out and it gives me amazing covered and it looks soooo natural get compliements all the time!

i buy cheap eyeshadows like jane or god i think its nyc....i got some gel stuff from sephora that is a transformer soo i can use my eyeshadows as liners....i think those work great!

best mascara its by bedhead tigi company its called fake it or wigged out is soo amazing! i will brag a bit but i have some amazing lashes

I get all my make-up at Walgreens and CVS. I am 31 and a beautician, used to be a Hootersgirl, I'm very attractive and I always wear make-up... I live in humid Florida and have worked outside before too so I know which products last long...
I use L'Oreal liquid True Color or True Match foundation, but you may not need as much coverage as I do since I have some acne scars/brown spots. Mascara is just the green and pink Maybelline one... The best eyeliner is definetly Revlon Colorstay retractable pencil in black/brown or black. Eyeshadow--- L'Oreal lasts and doesn't cake or flake off.
I don't know... These are just things that work for me.
I have kids so I don't have a lot of money to blow on make-up but I try to buy decent stuff.

Use a mineral make up for foundation and blush. Several brands make them now, Covergirl, Almay....
I think 2000 calorie mascara will give you full lashes. In most cases I would skip the eyeliner, it tends to close in the eye and make them look smaller. As for eyeshadow I think a nude tone or a very light pink and a little gold at the brow line and the inside corners of the eye will look pretty. Lip gloss should be something that makes your lips look like you just ate a strawberry...you may need to try out a few.
