Consulting Charge $$?

My old employer has asked me to work as a consultant for a new Human Resource Information System they are rolling out. I did this once for them as an employee. I have experience, but do not have a degree. I will do consulting as well as set up the new program. I will work directly with the vendor to get it going. Any ideas what the going rate for this in Illinois? About 112 employees.

For starters figure that as a consultant you should be making at least twice your hourly rate as a regular employee.... it can go much higher.
