My birthday is coming up and these two girls are forcing me celebrate it and they want to treat me when I really don't want to since I don't think it is such a big deal. But, as a guy, I obviously feel really bad to say no but I really don't want to do anything. I love celebrating other people's birthdays, though, that is fun for me. But I hate celebrating my own, since I feel really spoiled and arrogant for doing so. What do I do?

Well you could tell them straight out that the best thing they could do for you is not make a really big deal out of it. Or if you think thats a little harsh you could just go along with how they expect you to be: happy and excited. If they are the type to not listen to what you think..try making them listen...shout if you have to though i personally dont think thats neccessary since they are trying to make you happy...

If it makes them happy then just do it, you should be happy two girls wan to celebrate your B-day, and since it's not that big of a deal don't think to much about it just let them do it and get over with it.

we are the same
i dont celebrate mine either

but sometimes it is really hard to avoid people when they want to celebrate your bday

well, first try to tell them that u dont want to, give reasons, u can say it in a nice way, friendly way, or even funny way

if it doesnt work, then go, its not a big deal, nothing is wrong with that, u dont want to, but they do, so u are doing this not for u but for them

Smile graciously and say thank you to your friends. Thank God that you have lived to see another birthday and that you have friends that think enough of you to want to do something special for you. You are truly blessed my friend.
