Without a doubt its Kentucky! u idiots who said UCLA, they just had ONE really great run, and there doin ok now, but other than that, nothin!!! UK has had sustained excellence continually ove the last 100 years or so!!! UK has 43 SEC championships, 7 NCAA championships, 14 Final Fours, and they lead the all-time series over teams like: UCLA, DUKE, NORTH CAROLINA, FLORIDA(by all most 100 games) KANSAS, LOUISVILLE, INDIANA, need i go on!! UK IS THE BEST!! GO WILDCATS!!

For sustained excellence over the decades, it probably would be Kentucky, followed perhaps by Indiana. The roots grow deep in both states.

UCLA and North Carolina have been good for more than 40 years, but had some ups and downs before that. UCLA obviously had an incredible run of success, and it's doing pretty well now too.

Kansas - the inventor of basketball coached there (Naismith), Wilt Chamberlin, Dean Smith and Adolph Rupp played there, Allen Fieldhouse is a great venue.

By all time NCAA titles won it would be UCLA with 10.

Other contenders would be Duke, North Carolina and Kansas

it has to be UTEP, they paved the way for minorities to play in the NCAA, and lets be honest where would basketball be without that
