If I used the same tactics used on radio and media would a lot of people in the USA start to buy into what I am saying? I mean if I cherry picked storries and took things out of context to make the Taliban look good and Americans bad, would it work? I bet I could spin it pretty well.

I hope you are kidding Susi. Just take a story he talks about and do some unbiased research. The true story is always a little different and often quite different. I have done this. I am no Liberal. I just value the truth. I believe most listen because he is entertaining and says the things they want to here. The trouble is people begin to believe the things he says at face value.

No. I don't think exposing that ideology to an open airing over the air waves would fly in America. Most people don;t simpathize will fundamental extremist Muslims, but they do like to talk about issues in a format that allows an exchange of ideas without interdiction from a moderator. You should try it sometime and put down the koolaid.

that's exactly what they do over there... in posters.. tv... everything....
they use extreme generalizations about the west to fuel the fires of hate... just like talk radio does against them...
conservatives say "remember 9-11" to excuse invading Iraq that had nothing to do with 9-11...
while they say "remember the crusades" to excuse bombing America that had nothing to do with the crusades...
propaganda and spin in two cultures that never really liked each other that much to begin with...

you don't listen to enough good talk radio. facts be known, it follows the actual event(s) much closer than say, network news. the very side that you support has been crowned king of the flip, twist, roll, mold and shape, spin masters. you are just gullible enough to buy their crap.
