No. Impeachment proceedings would take too long and cost American taxpayers too much money. Besides, if you think about it from the Republicans' perspective, Bush did nothing that's 'impeachable'. All he did was lie to Congress and the public about 'weapons of mass destruction' which led us into an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral war with a country that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.
In order to be impeached, Bush would have had to lie to Congress and the public about an adulterous liaison with another consenting adult.
I would prefer to see Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and all 535 members of the Republican-dominated Congress [that turned its back and stood idly by as Bush violated our laws and our Constitution, and the rules of the Geneva Convention] tried for high crimes against humanity in an international tribunal, and - if convicted - sentence all 538 of these evil cretins to death by hanging, just as they so callously arranged to hang Saddam Hussein all because the Bush family had a personal vendetta against the Iraqi dictator.
Surely, Satan has reserved a special oil-soaked, blood-stained corner of Hell for this gang of bloodthirsty thugs who started a war all for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING at any cost - even the cost of 675,000 Iraqi lives and 3,500 U.S. soldiers' lives. -RKO- 07/06/07

No, I do not favor Bush impeachment. It would be a complete waste of time, just like Clinton's was. WIth totally partisan voting, you would never get the Senate votes you need to actually throw him out of office, so why waste our time and money?
A better idea: have him arrested. He is guilty of several actual crimes:
Illegally wiretapping US citizens without a warrant.
International kidnapping: ordering his followers to take anyone they considered a potential threat and hold them in Guantanamo for five years.
Fraud: Fraud is deinfed as lying to people in order to convince them to give you something. Bush lied to the US public in order to get his hands on our money for a war in Iraq.
Murder: 3500+ US deaths and tens of thousands of Iraqis dead as a result of his fraudulent war.
I think a lawyer could make a case for any of these charges.
Aside from the fraud, Bush didn't do any of these things PERSONALLY, so you would have to make it a RICO suit.
If you're getting the impression that I don't like Bush, you're right!

I'm a Republican who voted for Bush. I favor impeachment, not for Iraq, but for refusing to take control of the border.
On Iraq, Congress should be removed from office. The Consitution gives Congress the power to declare war, and they abdicated this authority to the President. For that, they deserve to go.

If they could put Clinton through impeachment for getting a little head, then there's no logical reason for not impeaching Bush.
YES, I favor it.

Yes. He has participated in illegal warrantless wiretapping, and admitted it on national TV. That is worthy of impeachment.
