1480 miles/ 4 hrs = 370 mph
1150 miles/ 5 hrs = 230 mph

x + wind = 370
x - wind = 230
2x = 600
x = 300 mph

Let the speed of the plane is x m/h, and the speed of the wind is y mph.

x + y = 1480 / 4 = 370
x - y = 1150 / 5 = 230
