I think it's a really good idea. I mean no one ever calls their kid their entire full name unless they are in trouble, and you don't even have to do it then. Your maiden name would be there for familial history purposes. How many people ask you your full name, anyway? I'm considering doing the same thing. ♥

My kids have 4 names to (first name, two middle names, last name). They can use the names as they see fit when they are older.
I have a Colombian friend and one time I was helping her copy her college diploma to go to grad school in the U.S. I think there were at least 5 names on that diploma, the first and last name I knew her by and several middle names!

definitely NOT a fan of Stanek unless you leave out the Elijah and just use Stanek as the middle name. My husband has 4 names and he NEVER uses his 3rd name only a first, one middle and a last. He never writes it on documents or anything and says its a pain in the butt! Save your kid the hassle by giving him one middle name instead of 2.

My hubby & I actually thought about doing this too. I like the idea, keeping your family name as well :)

I think that would be cool to keep both of your names in his name.
