I've had a sonogram at 10 weeks and I don't know what I'm seeing. I've been looking for a resource to sort of teach me what i'm looking at. Does anyone know a good place to learn more about what i'm seeing on a sonogram or maybe be able to tell me more of how to see something on a sonogram?

Thanks in advance!

1) YOUR organs--you're looking at parts of your bladder and other organs, depending on where the baby is located.

2) The baby itself

3) Your placenta and uterus

4) The umbillical cord (sometimes)

Well when you are getting the sonogram done you should ask the person who is doing it to help you explain what everything is and just ask quetions thats what I did and she was very nice and explained what everything was and such.
Here is a site where they have all kinds of ultrasounds you can look at and usually it will say something under the picture to help you understand or a arrow pointing to something explaining what it is like a leg or feet.

At the time, I had a hard time seeing it too. However, I now have them scanned into the computer and it's much easer to make out the baby.

Of course, at 10 weeks it's so small. You are seeing mostly your own organs.

Congrats on your baby!
