I have olive/tan skin. Although I am on the lighter side of tan, it is always so hard to find a color that works for me, with the olive undertone that I have. Any advice....I would love to wear something other than lipgloss all the time!!!!!!!!!!

I suggest a nice plum, or deep reddy brown. I more so prefer the deep reddy brown as it'll play up the warmer sultry tones of your skin. A clear gloss over and it should look fabulous!

I can give you a few suggestions...if you're looking for an everyday color, I would suggest a light to medium nude brown. For a more professional or evening look, I would go with a medium/dark mauve or rose color. A few lipsticks that I think would look fantastic are:
everyday look- Bare Escentuals lipstick in "Cat's Meow"-it's a nude, bronzy color. Some other nice neutral colors are Sheer Joy and Yumi (also BE lipstick colors)
professional/evening-Bare Escentuals lipstick in "Belle"-it's a mauve-rosey color.
You can order these colors on the QVC website qvc.com
good luck, hope this helps you!

I have a pretty similar coloring, and I cannot find ANY color that looks right one me. I usually just put on clear or nearly clear gloss, because it's just what looks best on me, but I guess you can a lip color instead of a gloss.
Maybe you can try bright colors in a sheer formula, like a really sheer berry-red or a bronze. I like to mix some nude lipstick with the "warmth" powder from bare escentuals.
Or maybe you'll like Blistex's lip tone lip balm (I think that's what it's called), it;s really creamy and in a lip balm packaging, but it offers a natural but noticeable mauve-nude color. One bad thing about it is that it comes off just as easily as lip gloss.

Olive skin looks good with brownish reds, light browns and raisin Rich dark pinks and dark berry shades also compliment olive skin.

Hope it helped = )
