Back in college I had to take a Philosophy course in that course I was exposed to the actual "Communist Manifesto" by Karl Marx. In that book I was struck at how it pertains to the present day not the entire philosophy, but some portions. Marx stated that the powers that be in order to stay in power would stir up trouble, expose differences all to keep the common man at each others throat.
That being said I point out the constant bickering between common people not the politicians, but people like you and me. Now I ask you how many people here liberal or conservative get to talk to their representative in Washington or have had their U.S. Senator intervene on their behalf. Few if any but those same politicians Democratic or Republican have open arms for their fat cat contributors. These contributors are the one that control our government, not us.
I think it is serious time that people start the formation of a new party one that truly represents what us, the American People want!

As for what I want; I want to have good schools in safe neighborhoods; clean water and food; the children that is born today to have a viable future for themselves. To be free of intrusions by the government, reasonable taxes, and a government that is truly for the people.

I agree. It's past time Americans woke up to the fact that the two party system isn't working. The true voice of America has been stifled and twisted by the sycophants of Corporate America. The two major parties are and have been in the pockets of special interest groups for years. Lobbyists have bought and paid for both parties and they cover themselves in so much hype the populace is left in ignorance. Strip away their cover and there isn't that much difference in them.

I think we'd all like the same things as you mentioned.
It brings to mind the song lyrics:
"United we stand,
Divided we fall"
Too much money is needed to run for president. We
should change that, maybe by not having candidates
run all over the place in airplanes vying for votes which
costs thousands of dollars. They should all just appear on
television being questioned by both Liberals and Conser-
vatives two or three times before the Elections. Or they
can buy time on tv to give their platform and why we should
vote for them. The Elections should all be on the same
date, so Iowa or whomever, doesn't get a first vote. This
would cut way down on fat cat contributions where the
candidate feels they have to pay these people back by
voting for some of the high contributors' pets, when they
become president. I'm not sure about your idea of a "new
party". Just re-adjust what's already here that has worked
for many years. Then legislatures began speaking out and
calling others names, instead of being the proper, and
therefore, mannerly servants they used to be working for
the benefit of Americans.

There are purely some conservatives, many republicans. in case you took be attentive to the President the week in the previous the elections all you heard exchange into, cut back and run, develop your taxes, super spending and issues alongside those lines. while the top canines barks those issues what do you assume to study at here from republicans? The republican social gathering has swung way too far proper and their intolerance has grown in share to the swing. i'm an self sustaining, yet frankly, detest the republicans. i think of their social gathering management is immoral. I ask greater often than not severe questions requiring questioning, and the questions are directed on the republicans. i'm getting 4, six, ten solutions. an particularly severe question, does not get many solutions, in case you're asserting reality. maximum human beings get bored of all the crap, so i assume we purely chime in with our very own at cases.

This is a great point and Will had to go and toss in his two cents. Once again Conservatives prove my question correct about how they bash and bash some more. Not saying im a Lib because its just what I read on yahoo answers from Conservatives.

I would have to say you point rings true and that is something I have been working on in my mind for ahwile now. Look at all the things that sit on the way side while we fight over single minded issues. We should also be talking about things that can be solved, now.

I get so sick of this conservative / liberal name calling. I don't even know anybody who fits the description people give on this site.
I guess I really got the ball rolling on my show with the name calling.
I really have lowered the dialog in this country, but it's been a lot of fun and I've made a few bucks along the way. If you don't like what I say you must be a dirtball bleeding heart liberal.

The only thing you missed is that Dr. Ron Paul fills the bill exactly! With him at the helm we could take back the republican party. We would need to kick out all the neocons and CFR members/followers and make it a steadfast rule that to be in this party you must stand for a constitutional government of LAW! You also must hold our sovereignty as only slightly less important than our families.
Support Dr. Ron Paul!

The only thing missing from the current two party system is Doo rags and gang signs. They bicker incessantly, fight for territory and when things go bad they point fingers like children over a broken lamp. There needs to be a third party.

It's way past time.

Liberals vs Libertarians is what the Founding Father's had in mind. A debate between fulfilling the Social Contract and Personal Liberty. Not between the Nanny State and Privilege for the Rich.

Great book... It's been years sense I have read it, but really points out incredible views of authorities. Another large part about that was not only did the parties of power spark fighting among men, but also the control by fear. The propaganda of there is much to fear and we are the ones that can protect you. Seems very close to what's going on today...

The problem is both sides always cater to their bases, and not at what is good for the country. The only thing that can help is try to vote for moderates in both parties.
