I am a senior and am planning on applying to these colleges. I was wondering what it takes to get into these schools. For people who have gotten in or know somebody that was admitted, how did you or they do in high school (like in terms of academics, standardized tests, extracurriculars, etc.) to get into these schools and what other colleges did you apply to?

I went to the U. of Penn. I started in the School of Education and transferred into the Wharton school. I lost 54 credits in transferring from Pitt, so I just bout started over. But it was a great experience. I attended under the G. I. Bill, so the tuition was not to be worried about. Unless you get a good scholarship, you will have a hard time paying for it.
Do not, repeat, do not join any fraternity or sorority. They are waste of time, unless you come from money.
Study hard, and you will make out. I made the Dean's List in my final year and graduated in the top 5% of my class. The reputation of the school is hard to beat.

Princeton Review shows statistics about GPAs and SATs of those admitted. They also have a tool that helps you find schools that are appropriate for you. The link is below.
