I have heard of classes using e instead of f. if you take
a=5
b=4
c=3
d=2
e=1
1+2+2+1 =6
divide by 4 get 1.5 since 1 is fail you may have passed with a d- but it would depend on how high a D and how high and E you had as to how close you were to a Passing or Failing grade.

Judging by some of the other answers, I would say your average grade would be a D- and some schools DO pass students with that grade while others do not. You didn't say what the subject was that these grades were for. If it is something vital to graduation, such as requirements for a certain major, I'd suggest either study harder or retake the class. Better safe than sorry.

Based on the information you provided, I can conclude you didn’t fail the class. This is a rough estimate as I don’t have your numeric grade I.E. 64 for the first quarter. I might be able to give you a better answer if you provide me with this information.
