guessing by the numbers you have a GM vehicle and it has the 305 motor.

first i don't think that is a VIN number,the VIN number is located on top of the dashboard on the drivers side looking thru the windshield from the outside,i think that might be the engine number you have there,but to find out what motor you have just call the dealer for your model car,talk to the service department and give them that number,they will be able to tell you.

Gm 5.0 is a "305" motor. V-8. Pretty good engines, but not as good as a "350".

guessing from the GM and 5.0 in the vin, it might be a V8. 5.0 out of a mustang Gt fox body.
