someone you were very close to told you a secret that was REALLY bad would you tell the authorities? not me but a friend of mine is in this position what would you do?

My first response is- NO! I'm not a snitch.
But if it's something that could hurt a child or innocent person- that changes everything.

Depends on who it was. If it was my boyfriend, I wouldn't tell anyone. Same with my mom or dad. Anyone else, I don't think they'd tell me. I'm not that close with anyone else. And if they did tell me, I still wouldn't tell, I don't think. Maybe I would. I don't know. I have one friend that I would probably convince to go to the cops, and my other friends I'd keep it a secret for.

I would probably try talking them into going and getting the police to help them so they could get out of the trouble a little easier.

depends on what the secret is. if it was lets say, killing somebody, ya. it just depends on what it is.
